Tintra 3.0 is a UK company that is building the tech platform for what might be the world’s first bank purposely built forWeb3 and the metaverse. Our goal is to refine our artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to be free of bias and be more effective in know–your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) thereby stimulating trade and development for businesses in emerging markets.

The team

Richard Shearer

Over the last 15 years, Richard has been solving the problems of ultra-high net worth, high-profile families from the emerging world. Through this he has developed deep connections across Africa, the Middle East and Asia through his concerted efforts over this time.

His key role has been in structuring solutions for its clients’ complex cross-border issues, as well as sourcing and creating deal flow in Europe, the US and Australia.

Simon White

Previously COO of FTSE listed Man Group, COO and CFO of NYSE listed GLG Partners Inc. – two of the most prominent alternative fund management players globally. Since 2014 he has worked with tech and tech-facilitated start-ups in lending, mobile communications, supply chain finance, digital migration and music NED roles, including the NYSE listed Nomad foods with a $5bn market capitalization.

Gary Wright

Gary has a varied and extensive background in transaction services and the payments industry. This stems from his time at The Royal Bank of Scotland where over a long career he held a series of senior management positions including responsibility for managing the back-office clearing and settlement of Treasury Services and the transaction activity and product management of International Payments.

Since leaving the bank Gary has worked with fintechs, corporates and banks specialising in all aspects of payments and transaction services helping them to develop effective strategies and solutions to capitalise on the commercial and competitive opportunities.

He focuses heavily on how digitalisation and new technologies, coupled with the regulatory drive to open up access to markets to new entrants is changing and challenging the face of banking. He has a well established network in the UK and Europe and works closely with the new emerging challenger banks and fintech startups.

Abdul Sajid

During his professional career, Abdul has served in senior roles in several companies across various sectors including mutual funds, real estate, construction, financial advice and investment management.

Abdul moved to Dubai in 2011 where he has subsequently dealt with a range of complex transactions for very high-profile clients.
